Sridevi daughters collected National award

It was an emotional moment for Sridevi's daughters and husband Boney Kapoor. Sridevi who died due to drowning in bathtub in a hotel in Dubai in February this year won National Award for Best Actress for her brilliant performance in 'Mom'. The awards were presented on Thursday evening in New Delhi,

Sridevi daugthers Jahnvi and Kushi Kapoor along with Boney Kapoor collected the award. It was Sridevi's first national award and she passed away before she took it. 

Janhvi Kapoor told reporters, "I want to thank the jury and the government of India for recognizing the hard work my mother has done. It is very special for us as a family.

Janhvi is debuting as actress in Hindi film titled ‘Dhadak’.
