Sunil Narang bags Baahubali 2 for Nizam for record price

'Baahubali 2', the second and final part of Rajamouli's epic drama series 'Baahubali', is doing phenomenal pre-release business. The movie was sold off to Ceded area for record price. And it set new record in North America as a distributor paid whopping Rs 45 Cr for the movie's theatrical rights for all the languages.
Now, Sunil Narang of Asian Films bought the movie's rights for Nizam area for an all-time record price. As per the industry sources, the amount paid for the rights is in the range of Rs 46 Cr to Rs 50 Cr and this pertains to only Telugu version. 'Baahubali The Beginning' collected Rs 43 Cr share in Nizam. The distributors are expecting that the second part would do more than Rs 60 Cr share. The first part was distributed by Dil Raju in Nizam area but he refused to pay such astronomical price for the second part though he saw huge profits on the first part.
'Baahubali 2' is expected to do a pre-release business at around Rs 300 -v400 Cr worldwide. The film has completed major portion of its shoot and is readying up for release next summer. Starring Prabhas, Rana, Anushka and Tamannah in the lead roles, the movie is produced by Arca Media.
