News in Bollywood media is that Tabu is set to play mother of Akhil in his second movie. She is said to have signed after reading the entire script. She liked the role.

Tabu has already played mother roles in Bollywood movies. But she doing such role in an Akhil movie would generate lot of curiosity. The unmarried actress was earlier romantically linked to Nagarjuna, Akhil's father.

Tabu who hails from Hyderabad has played heroine roles in many Tollywood movies and is a good friend to Nagarjuna. Akhili is currently acting in director Vikram Kumar's movie. She is playing mother's role in this.
