Tabu to play Allu Arjun's mother

Director Trivikram is finalising key cast members for his next film starring Allu Arjun in the lead role. The movie will be launched on Ugadi festival.

Sources have informed us that Trivikram will be roping in Tabu for the role of Allu Arjun's mother. He has already met her but she is yet to give final nod. But the team of Trivikram is confident that she will sign on the dotted line soon.

Tabu played leading lady roles in Tollywood till 15 years ago. She has acted as lead heroine in many Telugu blockbusters such as ' 'Coolie No. 1', 'Prema Desam', 'Sisindri', 'Aavida Maa Aavide', 'Chennakesava Reddy', 'Andarivaadu', etc.

Trivikram has roped in Nadiya as aunt for Pawan Kalyan in 'Attarintiki Daaredi' and Khusbu as step-mother for NTR in 'Aravindha Sametha'.

Allu Arjun and Trivikram's untitled film will be produced by Haarika Haasine Creations and Geetha Arts. Thaman will provide the music. Pooja Hegde is the heroine.
