TC2019: A memorable year for megastar Chiranjeevi

Megastar Chiranjeevi made his comeback to films after nine long years with the film ‘Khaidi No 150’. Post that film, Chiranjeevi started working on his dream project ‘Sye Raa’ which took him two long years to complete. So much was said about the film as to why Chiranjeevi is doing a period drama and he is not fit enough to do the role of a brave freedom fighter. But Ram Charan came ahead and fulfilled Chiranjeevi’s dream.

Released amidst the hype and with much fanfare, ‘Sye Raa’ made good collections at the box office. It even crossed the coveted mark of 100 crores share and once again proved that Chiranjeevi's craze is intact. Though the film did not break even in many places due to the high pricing but Chiranjeevi was lauded for his performance in the film and the way he carried the film on his shoulders

2019 was a special year for Chiranjeevi as he also signed a film with Koratala Shiva, the hit director in Tollywood. On the personal front, he was blessed with a granddaughter and his son Charan started shooting for the prestigious RRR.

2020 is going to be exciting as Chiru will start his film soon and has revealed to the media that he will do films that suit his age now.
