TV channels telecasting old serials

Due to the lockdown and corona crisis, shootings of film and TV industries have come to a halt. No movie shooting or TV serial shooting is taking place. This has affected the programming of entertainment channels in India. Now Star Maa, Gemini, Zee and ETV, the main general entertainment channels in Telugu, have begun telecasting old serials and reality programs. Star Maa is now airing the season 3 of ‘Bigg Boss’ to entertain the audiences.

If the lockdown gets extended, they will run out programming as well. Then, the channels will have to shift their focus to the library of old movies.
