The unintended 'gap' is haunting Allu Arjun!

Allu Arjun took a long gap to commence the shoot of his next film after the failure of ‘Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India’ which hit the screens in summer 2018. He didn’t step into the movie location for almost a year and then began shooting for Trivikram’s ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ in April 2019. This was the reason why Trivikram included the dialogue ‘Gap ivvale…vachindi’ (I didn’t take gap…. it just happened) for Allu Arjun in the film.

‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ set new records at the box-office. The film’s music became a phenomenon. Even after delivering such a huge hit, Allu Arjun is now forced to take the gap. Again, he didn’t take a gap himself but it just happened due to coronavirus outbreak.

‘Pushpa’, his third film with the director Sukumar, was to commence the regular shoot from March 2020 but the movie’s shoot has been postponed. At present, it can only commence in July or August. The film will also see a delay in the release next year. So, the gap between the two movie releases is increasing in Allu Arjun’s career.

“Gap icchina ivvakpoyina ade vachestondi…,” he’d say now.

‘Pushpa’ is a story set in the backdrop of red sanders smuggling in Andhra Pradesh. Allu Arjun is practicing the Chittoor region dialect. Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine. Mythri Movie Makers is producing it.
