This weekend USA box-office had witnessed the releases of Sharwanand and Samantha starrer ‘Jaanu’, ‘Savaari’, a small-budgeted movie made by newcomers.‘Savaari’ took about $11k in its opening weekend, a decent amount for a movie that had no buzz and no ‘stars’. 

The biggest disappointment is ‘Jaanu’ which won good reviews and word-of-mouth was also good. In fact, the performances of Sharwanand and Samantha and the film are getting good appreciation. It definitely deserves more love than it had received. Somehow, the film has not clicked with US audiences. It has collected about $155k in its first weekend.

The Sankranthi releases have ended their run. ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ has been taken away from the screens and it's final gross now stands at  $2,287,128. ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ is running in selected screens but it is not adding much moolah. It has crossed $3.6 million so far.
