USA BO: Premam grosses half million dollars

'Premam' is turning out to be a super hit. The film did post strong numbers in its first weekend in USA. In its first weekend, the movie has crossed half million dollars mark. Total first weekend gross is $521,020.

This is second best first weekend opening for Naga Chaitanya after 'Manam'. Generally the month of October is considered off-season for Telugu movies in USA market. Still the movie drew good number audiences to the theatres. The general positive word-of-mouth and good reviews have helped the film scoring such good numbers in its first three days. 

'Premam' is now inching towards the coveted one million dollars mark. Starring Naga Chaitanya and Shruti Haasan, the movie was directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by Naga Vamsi.
