USA: Mental Madhilo gets okay numbers

‘Mental Madhilo’ has performed better than all the new releases. The film grossed 134k dollars in its opening weekend. While other Telugu releases like ‘Balakrishnudu’ and ‘Napoleon’ have performed badly, this movie registering more than 100k dollars is noticeable feat.

However, this opening weekend is not that impressive considering all the pre-release and post-release buzz. The film’s weak second half has spoiled the chances. Had the makers trimmed the unengaging Mumbai sequences after the reviews poured in, its prospects would have been better.
