USA: Sye Raa posting average numbers

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Sye Raa’ that not only won good reviews but also got strong word-of-mouth is struggling to post big numbers at the North American box-office. By end of Friday, the movie has crossed $1.5 million. This is a pretty low number for a big scale movie like this. 

It is now pretty evident that the film will join the club of $2 million. However, the trend is that it will not move beyond unless the film sees a huge jump today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday). 

‘Sye Raa’ posted a big number on the day of premieres but somehow it has capitalized it further. Despite the positive talk, the film’s performance at the box-office is considered pretty average.

‘Sye Raa’ is made with a whopping Rs 225 crore. Directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan, the period drama also starred Amitabh Bachchan, Nayanthara, Tamannah, Sudeep, and Vijay Sethupathi. Megastar Chiranjeevi won rave reviews for his exceptional performance.
