Uyyalawada family demands huge amount from Ram Charan?

Strong buzz is that the descendants of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, on whose life the movie of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Rs 200 Cr mega movie ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ is based on, are demanding about Rs 5 to 8 Cr from Ram Charan for the story as well as for the compensation of crops that were spoiled by the unit members of the movie during the film shoot at their village.
But producer Ram Charan is not willing to pay such hefty amount. The quoted amount by Ram Charan is too low, the family members of Uyyalawada felt. Hence the impasse is continuing. They had also staged a dharna against Ram Charan at his office on Sunday.
Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy is the first freedom warrior in India who rebelled against the British Raj. From his fort in Kurnool, the provincial king led battle against them and was later killed by the British. His heroic fight is being filmed as ‘Sye Raa’ with Megastar Chiranjeevi essaying the role of Narasimha Reddy.
Before the commencing the shoot, Ram Charan, the producer of the film, had agreed to pay some amount as they had allowed the permission to shoot about Narasimha Reddy and also have agreed to allow the unit members to shoot at their farm lands and the fort in their village. But Ram Charan feels they are demanding unreasonable amount.
‘Sye Raa’ is slated for October 2nd release. The film has completed its shoot part and is now in post-production stage. ‘Sye Raa’ also features Nayanthara, Tamannah, Amitabh Bachchan, Sudeep and Vijay Sethupathi in the important roles and is directed by Surender Reddy.
