Valmiki locks new release date: Sep 13

September releases are being rescheduled. Varun Tej starrer ‘Valmiki’ was originally planned for September 6th release but it has now been postponed by a week. The thriller will hit the screens worldwide on September 13. This change has been done in the wake of Prabhas’s ‘Saaho’ locking August 30 as its new release date. 

By announcing the new release date, Varun Tej and the team of ‘Valmiki’ have checkmated Nani who is also looking for a new release date for his ‘Gang Leader’. 

‘Valmiki’ is a dark comedy directed by Harish Shankar. Based on Tamil hit movie ‘Jigarthanda’, the film stars Tamil actor Atharvaa Murali in a key role and Pooja Hegde and Mrunalini Ravi are the female leads. 14 Reels Plus is producing the film.

The film's shooting has been going on at a brisk pace.
