Varjun Tej and Harish Shankar's film titled Valmiki

Varun Tej and director Harish Shankar have teamed up for a new film that is based on Tamil movie ‘Jigarthanda’. The film has been titled ‘Valmiki’. The film was officially launched today.

The images of gun and film roll are embedded in the title logo. Produced by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta, ‘Valmiki’ has Varun Tej playing a gangster. However, director Harish Shankar has changed the story and screenplay of ‘Jigarthanda’ to make it better and more commercially viable. He earlier successfully remade ‘Dabangg’ into ‘Gabbar Singh’.
