Varun Tej pairs up with a software girl

‘Valmiki’ that is fast progressing in Hyderabad puts Varun Tej in new avatar. For the first time, Varun Tej is playing the role that has negative shades. He plays a rowdy leader in this dark comedy being directed by Harish Shankar.
 
Interestingly, he has paired up with a new heroine named Krishna Manjusha, a girl who is former software engineer in an MNC. The Telugu speaking girl is debuting as lead actress. The film also has Pooja Hegde who plays the role of a movie actress. But this new actress is cast as his love interest.
 
The film has Atharva Murali as another lead and Mrunalini Ravi is paired up with Atharva. Being produced by 14 Reels Plus, the dark comedy which is based on Tamil movie ‘Jigarthanda’, is set for September 6 release.
