Veteran actress Geethanjali passes away

Veteran actress Geethanjali is no more. She passed away in the wee hours of Thursday. She breathed her last at a hospital in Hyderabad. She suffered a massive heart attack. Geethanjali had acted in more than 300 movies in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
She rose to fame with her role in films like ‘Seetharama Kalyanam’, and ‘Doctor Chakravarthy’. She also had several hits as a lead heroine to her credit. Some of her other popular films are Gudachari 116, Sri Sri Maryada Ramanna, Kalavir Kodalu, Devata, Nindu Hrudayalu, etc.
Of late, she is playing the roles of grandma and aunt.
