The much-hyped ‘Hero’, a sports drama featuring Vijay Deverakonda has completely been shelved. Vijay Deverakonda has taken this decision after the disastrous result of ‘World Famous Lover’. 

‘Hero’ completed a major schedule in the direction of Anand Annamalai. Mythri Movie Makers have decided to stall the shooting as they were not happy with the director’s work. Vijay Deverakonda has agreed to compensate the production house Mythri Movie Makers by doing another film in its place.

Mythri was on the lookout for directors to make a movie with Vijay Deverakonda after he wraps up his current project. But Vijay Deverakonda doesn’t want to take chances right now. He wants to work with experienced directors and a producer who can judge the final output at this juncture of his career. So, he will move on to Shiva Nirvana and Dil Raju’s film after he wraps up Puri’s boxing drama.

Meanwhile, his flop movie ‘World Famous Lover’ is gaining attention to digital space. The film is now trending in the first position among Indian movies on Netflix.
