Vijayashanti turning down new movies

Vijayashanthi, the firebrand actress of the 1980s and 1990s, Vijayashanti, made a comeback after a gap of 13 years in Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’. The film became a huge blockbuster. At the film’s pre-release event, Megastar Chiranjeevi asked her to act with him again and she positively responded. 

However, she is now not showing interest to take up new films. Reasons best known to her, Vijayashanti is now turning down offers.

Vijayashanthi ruled the Telugu film industry as the number one heroine in the 90’s. She has no qualms of playing mother roles but she is not showing much interest to take up new projects.
