Vishal confirms sequel

Ahead of the release of 'Abhimanyudu' on June 1st, Vishal tells the media in Hyderabad that the film will have a sequel.  'Irumbu Thirai', the Tamil version of 'Abhimanyudu', released recently and has been described by Vishal as the "biggest hit in my career".

When will the sequel happen?  "It's still being written.  We decided on doing a sequel even before 'Irumbu Thirai' released.  The director (debutant PS Mithran) has so many ideas about how technology makes us vulnerable.  He has included only 20 percent of the ideas in 'Irumbu Thirai'.  The film is relevant to our times," Vishal says.

It touches upon Aadhar-related privacy issues.  "Not only this, we showed even the Cambridge Analytica kind of scenario in 'Abhimanyudu'.  This wasn't exposed when we were making the film," Mithran says.
