Vishwaroopam 2: Kamal declares he bought the rights

Kamal Haasan's 'Vishwaroopam 2' the movie that has been stuck at the editing table since 2013 is finally going to the see the light of the day. Kamal Haasan announced today that his production house bought the movie from the original producer Aascar Ravichandran. He made it clear that he now owns the movie totally. 

Kamal Haasan promised his fans that the movie would hit the screens this calendar year. He tweeted, "Happy to announce, Raajkamal Films International has taken over the responsibility of bringing Vishwaroopam2 within this calendar year 2017. Take it away lasses and lads. VR2 is yours to enjoy. I persevered in spite of political interferences. Was worth it. For my Nation & me."

The film is sequel to 'Vishwaroopam' that created huge controversy at the time of its release. 'Vishwaroopam' that is made in two parts is directed by Kamal Haasan himself.
