The confusion over the release date of 'Vishwaroopam 2' is cleared. In the wake of demise of former Tamilnadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, the team was planning to postpone the movie, said the reports. Throughout the day on Wednesday (July 8), lot of confusion prevailed.
 
Finally, the makers have informed the distributors in the evening that the movie is not going to be postponed. It will release on 10th August as announced earlier.
 
'Vishwaroopam 2' is releasing in AP and Telangana though NV Prasad on behalf of Kamal Haasan. The film is produced and directed by Kamal Haasan.
 
It is prequel to his 2013 super hit movie 'Vishwaroopam'.
