Last weekend, we saw four releases but only one of them made the good buzz. That is Sai Dharam Tej starrer ‘Prati Roju Pandaage’. Directed by Maruthi, the family entertainer received largely positive reviews. Critics termed the second half should have been better. However, word-of-mouth has been good. Hence, the film took an impressive opening at the box-office.

The family drama received Rs 3.20 crore on the first day in Telugu states. It earned a decent Rs 2.70 crore on the second day. Interestingly, the movie collected a better amount on Sunday. It collected more than Rs 3 crore in Telugu states on its third day taking its cumulative first-weekend collection past Rs 9 crore mark. 

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Ruler’ has turned out to be a disaster. Except in the Ceded area, the film posted low collections. 

Karthi’s ‘Donga’ won fairly decent talk but it has failed to attract the audiences. Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg 3’ also underperformed.
