Weekend releases: Manmadhudu 2 and Kobbari Matta

Nagarjuna’s ‘Manmadhudu 2’, Anasuya starrer ‘Kathanam’ and Sampoornesh Babu’s ‘Kobbari Matta’ are among this weekend’s new releases in Telugu. Nagarjuna’s ‘Manmadhudu 2’ has already generated huge buzz. The movie will hit the screens tomorrow worldwide.
 
Directed by Rahul Ravindran, it is a remake of a French movie ‘I Do’. Rakul Preet Singh, Lakshmi, Jhansi, Keerthy Suresh, Samantha, and Akshara Gowda are playing various roles in the movie.
 
On the other hand, Anasuya starrer ‘Kathanam’ is also releasing tomorrow. Anasuya said her film is no way a competition to Nagarjuna’s film. This film has failed to create any strong buzz.
 
Kannada movie ‘Kurukshetram’, a mythological movie starring Darshan, is also getting a wide release in its Telugu dubbed form tomorrow and Vishal’s flop movie ‘Ayoga’ is also releasing tomorrow. ‘Ayogya’, the Tamil movie itself is a remake of Telugu blockbuster ‘Temper’ but the producers had dubbed it again in Telugu.
 
On Saturday, Sampoornesh Babu’s spoof movie ‘Kobbari Matta’ is releasing in a big way. The trailer of the movie is hilarious. Sampoo has spoofed all old commercial potboilers.
