Who is cinematographer for Sarileru Neekevvaru?

Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ is all set to commence the regular shoot on 7th July in Kashmir. To be directed by Anil Ravipudi, this biggie is set to can some action episodes in the backdrop of military base. Mahesh Babu is playing the role of a soldier in the film.
 
Although director Anil Ravipudi has fixed the shoot schedule, he has not locked the cinematographer yet. Top cameraman Rathnavelu, of ‘Rangasthalam’, ‘Sye Raa’ and ‘Robo’, has already been approached for this film. However, the producers are in dilemma whether Rathnavelu could complete the movie in just span of six months as he is stickler for perfection. The team is planning to release the movie for Sankranthi.
 
The team is also in talks with Mohanan, the top cinematographer who worked for ‘Maharshi’. But both Rathnavelu and Mohanan demand big remunerations and they don’t compromise for visuals that would lead to production cost. So, this is the reason why Director of Photography has not been locked yet. A final call will be taken today or tomorrow.
 
‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ is produced by AK Entertainments in association with Dil Raju and Mahesh Babu. Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine. Vijayashanti is returning to silver screen after a gap of two decades with this entertainer.
