Strange is that the makers of Tamannah’s ‘That Is Mahalakshmi’ are not revealing the name of the director even after the film has wrapped up its entire shoot. They have officially announced that film’s shoot has come to an end along with other four movies.

‘That Is Mahalakshmi’ is the remake of ‘Queen’ and it is being simultaneously made in other south Indian languages - Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil with different actresses in the lead roles. All the four language versions have been completed. The Kannada, the Tamil and the Malayalam versions have different directors and all their names are officially announced but not for the Telugu version.

The film was originally launched in the direction of Neelakantha but Tamannah had a tiff with him and he walked out of the project after completing 50 percent. He has now directed the Malayalam version. Later Prasanth Varma of ‘Awe’ fame reportedly was roped in to finish the remaining portion. But the makers are not officially announcing this director’s name even in the latest press release.

Siddu Jonnagaladda, GVL Narasimha Rao and master Sampath will be seen in supporting roles in this movie while music is composed by Amit Trivedi.
