NTR may have said that he never thought about remuneration for doing 'Bigg Boss', but it goes without saying that he was offered a handsome amount.

"I have been paid an amount that will suffice to look after my wife and child. The remuneration is not as much as you think it is. Honestly, I haven't given a thought to it. Star MAA has paid me enough," he said at the promo launch of the show. The promo was launched on Saturday (July 8th) in Hyderabad.

There were rumours that NTR has received Rs 8 Cr for the season. But our sources he is getting paid Rs. 50 lakhs per episode, which come around Rs. 6 Cr in total for the first season. He won't be seen in all the episodes. The format is that the contestants are left to be as they want from Monday to Friday every week.  The host appears on weekends only.

The show will be aired from July 16th on Star Maa.
