Two songs of SPYder click big way

Athough the makers started out by first releasing the song 'Boom Boom' (as it's a hero-oriented number), the album of 'SPYder' has thrown up two different hits. They are 'Achcham Telugandam' and 'Ciciliya Ciciliya'. The songs have turned out to be big hits, especially the first of the two. Rendered by Pravin Saivi, Christopher Stanley and Sathya Prakash, Ramajogayya Shastry's lyrics are very soothing. Especially, it's not easy to have someone as charming as Mahesh Babu to be seen singing about the beauty of his lover girl (read 'Miss Mysterious', etc). Harris Jayaraj interlaces the Western with a touch of the Indian classical in this number.
The other song, once again penned by Shastry, has been sung by Hari Charan and Shakti Sree. Harris' music is trendy and peppy for this number. It seems the director removed from his mind the compulsion of Mahesh's superstardom, allowing his hero to just sing like a lover boy in his early 20s!
Set to hit the screens on Sept 27, the bilingual took Rs. 120 Cr to be made (as revealed by Mahesh). This is a litmus test for everybody, especially as it is a spy thriller. Primarily riding on Mahesh's heroism and Murugadoss' style, SJ Suryah's villainy, Santosh Sivan's cinematography and Jayaraj's BGM are also awaited.
