Archana's 'I Like It This Way' is woman's delight

Monday, October 9, 2017 - 23:00

'I Like It This Way', directed by journalist-TV host Prema Malini Vanam, features Archana as a fiercely feminist-minded character. The independent film seeks to impress upon the audience that every woman deserves to be accorded the freedom of choice. "My freedom is ego for you. But to me, my freedom is my pride," Archana's character says in the film.

As someone who doesn't take it lying down when anybody judges her by what she wears, the heroine yearns to find that Mr. Perfect who respects her for what she is. And the right man is played by Shivakumar Ramachandravarapu, who himself dramatically does a tear-jerker at the drop of a hat. 'Yes, males can cry!' his character says. 'Yes, males can and should cook', he suggests.

Produced by Archana, the film is written by the director herself. If the dialogues are by Gangadhar Advaitha, Sunil Kashyap of the recent 'Rogue' fame is the music director. Sira Sri's lyrics for a song are cool.
