Mahesh Babu is one of the highest paid stars in South India. He received Rs 23 Cr for 'Spyder' as remuneration, the amount was highest ever paid for a Telugu star at the time of its launch. ‘Spyder’ was a bilingual movie. However, Mahesh has tasted flop with this film that carried lot of expectations.

Mahesh Babu is one of the few stars in India who comes forward to lessen the burden of the producer when the movie doesn’t perform on strong note at the ticket window. Mahesh Babu is said to have promised the producer N V Prasad to return some amount before his next movie 'Bharath Ane Nenu' releases.

On the other hand, Mahesh Babu will be joining the shoot of Koratala Siva’s ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ next week. The film is being produced by D V V Danayya and it is slated for April 20, 2018 release.
