Keerthy says no to director's demand

Keerthy Suresh is riding high with all plush projects in hand. The icing on the cake is the biopic on yester year’s actress Savithri. The film titled 'Mahanati' is being directed by Nag Ashwin.

Keerthy is trying to get into the skin of the character. For this she has already put on weight for the role. The director has asked her to pile on more weight so that she looks perfect. But Keerthy Suresh is not agreeing to it.

This is because she thinks that it might be difficult to get back into shape if she piles on weight. Maybe she recalls how Anushka Shetty gained weight for 'Size Zero' and till date has been unable to lose weight. Taking Anushka's episode into account, Keerthy wants to play safe. We hope that with or without weight, Keerthy Suresh does complete justice to this role.

Keerthy will next be seen in 'Agnyaathavaasi' that hits the screens on 10 January 2018. On the other hand, 'Mahanati' is slated for Summer 2018 release.
