Ravi Varma, the talent on a roll

Ravi Varma is one of the much sought-after actors in Telugu cinema. He has had two back-to-back terrific years. In 2016, Varma did a key role in 'Terror'. He later bagged good roles in 'Jayammu Nischayammu Ra','Appatlo Okadundevadu', and 'Kshanam'.
This year, he has started with a bang. As a naval officer in 'Ghazi', the talent was impressive as a supporting submarine officer on board an enemy-targeted ship. In Praveen Sattaru's 'Garuda Vega', Ravi was seen in a full-fledged role as an NIA officer. This was not only Rajasekhar's comeback film, but also was a critically acclaimed hit. Then in Nagarjuna's 'Raju Gari Gadhi 2', he was seen as Swamy.
In Anand Ravi's 'Napoleon', Ravi played one of the lead roles, not just a full-fledged one. As a circle inspector in charge of cracking the curious case of Napoleon, he delivered a very balanced act. In 'Balakrishnudu', he was seen in an impactful role as Ramya Krishna's Muslim follower.
Naga Chaitanya's 'Yuddham Sharanam' is another film where he was seen as an NIA officer. He has now made a name in Kollywood too. 'Sathya', the Tamil remake of 'Kshanam', is his another noteworthy release.
