Vijay Devarakonda debuts in Kollywood

Nowadays, expanding their base in other states is a matter of utmost interest for many South Indian stars. For Vijay Devarakonda it has happened now. The much-touted handsome hunk will be launched in Tamil by Studio Green's Gnanavelraja.  "We are proud to introduce the South sensation to Tamil cinema," the banner says. On his part, the new sensation has greeted Tamilians with a 'Vandhutirruken' on Twitter.

His debut will be directed by Anand Shankar of 'Iru Mugan' fame. We know him as the director of Vikram's 'Inkokkadu'.  

It goes without saying that 'Arjun Reddy' has made this possible for Devarakonda. Although 'Pelli Choopulu' was a big hit, it's the kind of intense performance he put up in 'AR' that won him the maximum eyeballs.
