Sankranthi is turning out to be very bad for box-office. Although ‘Gang’ has seen good growth and ‘Jai Simha’ is performing better in mass areas, the overall mood at box-office is not bright.
 
Nagarjuna produced ‘Rangula Raatnam’ starring Raj Tarun and Chitra Shukla has failed. As critics pointed out the film has hardly anything that that appeals to the audiences. Very familiar story told in lethargic way.
 
The movie has failed miserably both in domestic market and in USA. In USA, it has grossed just 40 thousand plus dollars in its opening weekend.
