Shankar's ‘2.0’ is not releasing as planned. The film has been postponed again and so far the new release date is not announced. Sources say that it has been pushed to June or July. There is news that it might release on Indian Independence Day in August.

Reason cited for the postponement is delay in graphical work. Shankar is not giving any information about the release date of the film. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth's son-in-law is reportedly decided to lock April 13 as release date for 'Kaala'.
 
Ranjith directed 'Kaala' is ready. The entire shoot has been completed. Once Rajinikanth gives his nod, 'Kaala' date will be announced. Clarity about this film will be coming in a week.
