Jyothika as Vidya Balan in Southern remake

Jyothika will be essaying the titular character that Vidya Balan played in ' Tumhari Sulu'. The Tamil remake was announced by Jyothika's husband and popular actor Suriya.
He tweeted, "Happy to announce that Director #RadhaMohan and Jo are working together again after #Mozhi Hoping to see the magic repeat. All the best to the entire Team and Producer @dhananjayang sir @BOFTAindia congratulations!"
The Tamil version, which eventually will be dubbed in Telugu, will be directed by Radha Mohan of 'Akashamantha' and 'Gaganam' fame.
