Kajal Aggarwal was the first choice as the female lead for Ravi Teja in director Sreenu Vaitla's new movie 'Amar Akbar Antony'. However, Kajal didn't agree to sign the film that was recently launched.

Anu Emmanuel has been taken as the main heroine in the place of Kajal Aggarwal.

According to reports, Kajal was asked to cut pay for this movie but she said she can't do this. Since it is a regular commercial entertainer, heroines hardly get any prominence. Why should I cut remuneration for a masala movie, she argued. The film requires two more heroines as Ravi Teja is essaying three roles in this.
