Vijay Deverakonda as Vijay Antony in Mahanati

Vijay Deverakonda will be appearing as Vijay Antony in 'Mahanati', a biopic on legendary actress Savitri. Samantha is essaying the role of Madhuravani who narrates the story of Savitri. Vijay Deverakonda seems to be her boyfriend in the movie.

Keerthy Suresh is essaying the role of Mahanati Savitri. The movie has huge ensemble cast that includes Prakash Raj, Dulquer Salmaan, Mohan Babu, Naga Chaitanya, Rajendra Prasad and Bhanupriya.

Being directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, 'Mahanati' is slated for May 9 release in Telugu and Tamil languages simultaneously.
