Mahanati inching towards $1 million mark

'Mahanati' premiered on Tuesday (May 8) in USA and took good start. Generally, Telugu movies don't perform much on weekdays. Added to this, this film is running with normal price ticket. Still, it has managed to get $670k so far.

The film will definitely join the million dollars club by this Sunday. The trade is expecting that it should touch $2 million mark given the great word-of-mouth and compliments from critics and celebrities alike.

'Mahanati', a biopic on Savitri, is directed by Nag Ashwin.
