Rashmi: Stop targeting the film industry

Known for her brutally honest opinions, Rashmi Gautam is always nice to be seen engaging with people on Twitter.  For example, most recently, she spoke of her desire to play a sex worker on the celluloid.  She is sensitive towards the plight of prostitutes who are victimized by circumstances. The 'Jabardasth' show host got angry when a troll suggested that 'Next Nuvve' featured her in a slut's role!  

As for casting couch, this is what Rashmi has to say: "Sexual exploitation of women happens everywhere. Address the bigger issue and stop targeting the film industry in the name of casting couch. Let’s do our bit to put an end to this rather than making it a topic for cheap thrills."

For "cheap thrills" is a strong usage. Rashmi is indirectly hitting out at the media.  Sexual harassment in the context of the film industry is an ingenuine cause for the media because of the TRPs it ensures, she indirectly says.
