Tamil film ‘Irumbu Thirai’ was released in Tamil Nadu and was a huge success. Actor Vishal is expecting similar reception for the Telugu version ‘Abhimanyudu’. 

Vishal says that this film mainly focusses on the Digital India concept. The film will elaborate the kind of problems that happen by giving people's information in public domain and how Digital India is affecting our lives. But he ascertains that this film is not an anti-BJP propaganda film.

The film could not release alongside the Tamil version due to the shortage of theatres. This is why the film could not release on May 11.

Vishal says that with his films he wants to educate the audience. He knows that cinema has that kind of aura and he plans to do this with all his films. The film will be releasing on June 1.
