Ram Gopal Varma launches Film school

Ram Gopal Varma has announced the launch of his own film school. Named RGV Unschool, the director has partnered with New York-based Dr. Ram Swaroop and Dr. Swetha Reddy in setting up the film training institute.
Speaking at a press meet on Sunday afternoon, RGV said that his school will train aspiring directors who don't know basics of filmmaking. Depending on the personal tastes and preferences of trainees, appropriate coaching will be given at the school. "To make students discover the hidden filmmakers in them," is an objective of the fledgling institute.
The very term 'Unschool' makes it clear that Varma wants future directors to unlearn past lessons. Given his passion, the experiment should work in a big way. Also, since RGV has very good relations with several senior people (some of whom, like Krishna Vamsi, Puri Jagannadh and Teja, are his disciples), guest lectures at the school are a given!
