Never has Janhvi Kapoor spoken at length in an interview after the tragic demise of her mother, the legendary Sridevi.  Speaking to a fashion magazine, the desirable debutante of 'Dhadak' says that Sridevi was once not-so-welcoming of the idea of Janhvi debuting in movies.

"She would say I am too naive to survive in the industry," Janhvi says.  The cut-throat place that the film industry is, it's not easy for the thin-skinned. 
 
She would always enjoy studying English and History as a student.  While she wanted to excel in History in some reputable institution, Janhvi was destined to learn acting at a Los Angeles institute.
