Varun Tej has become darling for young directors who has fresh ideas. He is working with directors who are experimenting in subjects or making off-beat movies like ‘Kanche’ or ‘Fidaa’.
 
He is currently working in a space thriller titled ‘Antariksham’ in the direction of Sankalp Reddy. Along with this, he will also commence a pucca commercial movie named ‘F2’ in the direction of Anil Ravipudi later this month. However, he will be returning to working with different directors after the completion of ‘F2’, a formula commercial movie.
 
Varun Tej has given his official agreement to commence a film with director Sagar Chandra of ‘Appatlo Okadundevaadu’ fame. Sagar Chandra is an offbeat filmmaker. The film will be produced by 14 Reels and its shoot will commence from December this year.
