Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaala’ is struggling at box-office in Telugu states as well as at North American box-office. The collections are no match to the star power of Rajinikanth.
 
In its first weekend, the movie grossed nearly $1.6 million at USA. Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaala’ grossed nearly $4 million. In other words, it is a huge flop in USA.
 
In AP and Telangana, the film has failed to post even decent numbers. Though Dalit and left-wing leaders and intelligent people are praising director Ranjith’s ideology, the movie didn’t strike a chord with common audiences and Rajinikanth’s fans.
