Raj Tharun's career is not faring as expected. His last film 'Rajugadu' was a dud. There were rumours that the actor will be seen in the remake of Tamil film Naanum Rowdydhaan. It was also said that his leading lady would be Hebbah Patel.

But this is false news. Raj Tharun has clarified that he is not acting in the remake of this film. He tweeted, "False news ji!!! Prasthutham Nenu ae cinema remake cheyatledu!!! Naa next film pre production work avthondhi!! Cast and crew are not finalised yet :)"

Meanwhile, his next release is going to be 'Lover'. The first look of 'Lover' will be released on 16th June. The film is being directed by Aneesh Krishna of 'Ala Ela' fame and produced by Dil Raju.
