Mehreen shocked by interrogation in US

Being a Tollywood actress turned out to be Mehreen Pirzada's bane the other day. The young actress was traveling from Canada to the US. The concerned authorities quizzed her about her identity and when she told them she is a Telugu film actress, the US Department of Homeland & Immigration felt she should be interrogated further.

Reason? Most recently, a pimp named Kishan Modugumudi was caught running a sex racket with Tollywood actresses. While the culprit has been caught, the image of Tollywood has taken a severe beating. As such, the authorities in that country have firmed up security protocols. Mehreen became the first victim of this overdrive.

She was questioned for 30 minutes. She must have been asked unwelcome questions. The 'Pantham' actress was taken aback and has been upset about the turn of events.

She awaits the release of 'Pantham' on July 5.  She is also doing Vijay Devarakonda's 'NOTA'.
