In his long career, S P Balasubramaniam aka SPB crooned many hit numbers for Rajinikanth’s movies. But recently, he had not given his voice in Rajini’s films like ‘Kabaali’ and ‘Kaala’.

After a brief gap, SPB is back on board for Rajinikanth’s movie. He will be singing the intro song by composed by Anirudh Ravichander. This is for director Karthik Subbaraju’s film. The movie is under progress. Fans are already celebrating this as positive sign. As Rajinikanth’s films are underperforming at box-office, fans and the trade are worrying. Hope that the superstar bounces back with this film that also his favourite SPB’s song.

The film is Rajinikanth’s 165th movie and it is produced by Sun Pictures. Simran is being considered as female lead.
