They are famous wherever they go and display the best fashion sense and are the heart of any big red carpet event in the world.

This exposure has not only given them massive popularity but a chance to meet the who’s who in the business and film world. Did you observe what is common between Celina Jaitley, Preity Zinta, Priyanka Chopra, Jacqueline Fernandez and Lisa Ray? Well, all of them have either dated or married foreigners over the period of time. 

In such a case, our Tollywood celebs are not behind mind you. Off late, we have seen a few who have dated or married foreigners. Telugu Cinema looks at a few couples who have found solace abroad.

Shruti Haasan- Michael Corsale

The star daughter was always in the limelight for her bold nature and linkups. Shruti's relation with Siddharth was known to all but things Shruthi broke up with him and set eyes on the firangi Michael Corsale. The handsome hunk is a theater actor from London and Shruti met him during one of her visits there. Cupid stuck and the couple has been going strong to date. Michael is often seen in India hanging out with Shruti who even introduced him to her dad Kamal Haasan. Well, the grapevine is that they are going to tie the knot soon. When and where we need to just wait and see.

Shriya Saran - Andrei Koscheev

Well, this one is surely a googly as no one ever imagined that Shriya Saran would ever fall for a Russian guy. She was happily doing films in the south from the past ten years and there were not many linkup rumors about her. Things changed as the news made headlines that Shriya is marrying this tennis player cum motivational speaker from Russia named Andrei Koscheev. What's funnier was when Shriya's mom even denied these reports. But as in every love story, the couple secretly married in Mumbai and left many heartbroken down south.

Ileana - Andrew Kneebone

Ileana was always in the news for her don't care attitude towards the southern film industry which made the star she is today. Ileana found superstardom in Hindi and broke free in her own way. She was linked up with many of her co-stars but Ileana stunned everyone when she revealed that she is in a relationship with an Australian photographer Andre Kneebone. Tabloids reveal that she has already married Andrew whom she is living in with now. But Ileana, who doesn't like to speak about her personal life is keeping everyone in the suspense.

Pawan Kalyan -Anna Lezhneva

Don't know what's there in these Russian people. They seem to attract Indians in a big way right. The already divorced Pawan Kalyan is the best example and was the first one in Tollywood who fell for a Russian lady named Anna Lezhneva. Pawan Kalyan was this mass hero who spotted Anna, a Russian artist who was working on the sets of Teen Maar. Pawan got fond of Anna and the couple started living together. Things became so critical that he had a baby with her even before getting divorced from Renu Desai. Like in every Indian movie, things worked as Pawan divorced Renu and officially married Anna with whom he has two kids now.

Looking at all this, we feel that gone are the days where falling in love or marrying outside your community and country were considered a taboo. Things have changed rapidly and our stars are not thinking one bit to find love outside their comfort zones. The only thing they feel is love has no boundaries and should flow freely.
