Senior actor Vinod and singer Rani pass away

Senior actor Vinod is no more. Popular for playing negative roles, he passed away in the early hours of Saturday (July 14). Vinod was 59. He died of brain stroke.

His real name was Arisetti Nageshwara Rao but became popular by his screen name Vinod. He had acted in more than 300 films. Chanti, Indra, Lorry Driver and Narasimha Naidu were some of his popular films.

Singer Rani is no more

Veteran singer Rani too passed away on Saturday. That famous song in 'Devadasu' "Antha Braanthiyena" was sung by Rani. Her melodious was heard in more than 500 movies in many languages. She was 75. She breathed her last in her sleep at her daughter's residence in Hyderabad.
