Mahesh Babu's 'Maharshi' will begin its New York shoot this weekend. The team has already landed in USA. Being directed by Vamshi Padipally and produced by Dil Raju, PVP and Ashwini Dutt, this big-budgeted entertainer is evoking huge expectations. Since Vamshi Paidipally's previous film 'Oopiri' was critical and commercial success, 'Maharshi' has created positive buzz from the day of its announcement. The teaser also received good amount of buzz.

No wonder then that general entertainment channels have competed with each other to bag the movie's broadcast rights. Finally, Gemini TV bagged the rights by paying huge price.

'Maharshi' has Pooja Hegde as the female lead. Allari Naresh is playing Mahesh Babu's friend.
